Two discs in a single LP sleeve. Includes fold-out poster containing lyrics/photo on one side; reverse is image of Todd's cover portrait created from all the names returned on the postcards from the (A Wizard, A True Star) LP/5(20).

Recorded at Secret Sound Studio Track D3 recorded live at Wollman Rink, Central Park. Issued in a single-pocket sleeve (i.e. not a gatefold). Copies came with a large fold-out poster with album lyrics on one side and a picture of Todd on the other which is made up /5(25).

Maybe some listeners thought that the sonic trip A Wizard, A True Star was a necessary exercise in indulgence and that Todd Rundgren would return to the sweet pop of Something/Anything? for its follow-up. Not a chance. As it turned out, A Wizard was the launch pad for further dementia, and, depending on your point of view, indulgence. Its follow-up was Todd, an impenetrable double album filled.
